Our friend Tina, of the Essential Herbal Magazine (great magazine, go subscribe if you haven't already! ) has a wonderful blog post up about her Winter Tea. It's the time of year to be gathering and drying herbs for winter, and this is a really easy, delightful, and whimsical way to enjoy your herbs as tea all winter long!

Roe at Sun Rose Aromatics has a great blog post about my favorite, easy way to dry herbs. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly encourage you to do so. It is easy, nearly foolproof, and makes your car smell great. :) enjoy!

This is our little drying shed. It was an old farm building that we cleaned, re-roofed, and hung cattle panels from the ceiling (to attach dried bunches of herbs to). This the inside of our drying shed. i think this picture was taken about a year or two ago - the shed is not quite so tidy now. i think it it time to tidy it, as we are starting to fill it! Just yesterday we hung tidy little bunches of mountain mint, sweetgrass, lavender, and anise hyssop (destined to become smudge sticks).
