Once again, we have temps in the mid-90's, with heat indices in the 110 vicinity. *deep sigh*
We continue to get rain at all the right times. The plants love it. So do the weeds. Ah well, at least we can use some of them. Maggie is harvesting wild plants to distill and dye. I gathered a bunch of Queen Anne's lace on Saturday... Into the dyepot it goes!

Hello there. The heat is tough on my herbs this year, though my lemon mint is growing great. What is the primary thing that you use for your queen annes lace?
I use it for dyeing. Primarily silk and wool :)
I have not learned about dyeing yet but it is on my to do list for sure. I use queen annes lace in herbal remedies, the primary one is for my kidney stones. A great little herb.
I do enjoy your website, Thank you so much for keeping up with it so well.
