We've had a BUSY month here at Prairieland Herbs, and have gotten a wee bit behind on some things.....such as our Luxury Soap of the Month. But I've finally got it posted online. "Flying Moon" is a luscious, heady blend of ylang-ylang (an exotic floral) and pure vanilla absolute. Enhanced with organic goat's milk, black cocoa butter, aloe extract, pumpkin seed oil (how very seasonal!!!), silk fibers, AND shea butter - well, wow. I just don't know what else to say except....oh yeah. FANTABULOUS. There are about 50 bars, and they WILL go fast.....
We have exactly TWO spots left in this coming Saturday's class - Compost-dyeing With Natural Dyestuffs. It's gonna be GREAT - if you're at all interested, do sign up! The scarf above was compost-dyed, then treated with ammonia as a post mordant (and, as a shameless plug, is available for sale in Maggie's Etsy Store....
